Role Overview:
Have you got experience selling sports technology and consistently beating your quota, or are you an ex-professional athlete or coach that wants to use your deep relationships and understanding of the European Sports Landscape?
We can’t keep up with the demands for our products and hence are seeking an Account Executive to join our growing sales team. Based in either the UK, Southern Europe, Western Europe, or the Nordics, you will take charge of identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities, focusing on outbound sales efforts. You will manage the entire sales cycle, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive revenue growth. Responsibilities:
* New Business Development: Proactively reach out to prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and social media to generate new business opportunities.
* New Business Sales: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and onboarding clients.
* Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with sports teams, academies, schools, and leagues by understanding their unique needs and presenting tailored solutions.
* Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
* Sales Targets: Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales quotas and contribute to team goals.
* Market Insights: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
* CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the HubSpot CRM system.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success and Marketing teams to ensure seamless handoffs and customer satisfaction.
* Travel and Meetings: Travel up to 50% of the time is required, along with attendance at in-person meetings as needed.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field preferred.
* Experience: 2+ years in an outbound sales, account executive, or similar role, ideally within sports tech, SaaS, or a related industry.
Skills:
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Experience using GPS products, coaching, or working in semi-professional or professional sports.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Confidence in cold-calling and outbound outreach.
* Ability to manage a full sales cycle and close deals.
* Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
* Knowledgeable in the target market landscape, including:
