We have 2 Business Development Executive positions based in the Ashford and Tenterden office and will require some travelling to meet prospects. This is a Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, role (35hrs pw) with an hour lunch break.
We are looking for a Business Development Executive who has demonstrated small to medium commercial business experience and dependant on experience the salary will be a circa of £28,000 to £30,000 per annum.
We are also looking for a Business Development Executive who has demonstrated large commercial business experience and dependent on experience the salary will be a circa of £32,000 to £34,000 per annum.
To be considered for the roles, you must have full, clean driving licence, have your own vehicle and a 30 minute commutable distance to the Ashford office.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute positively to the development and delivery of an effective planning and contact strategies for identifying and targeting new commercial insurance opportunities to supports business objectives.
* Build relationships with potential customers and work with colleagues to successfully convert leads into long term customer relationships.
* Identify and initiate cross selling sales opportunities to existing clients with financial products.
* Research, design and implement effective methods of communication to generate potential sales.
* Important part is getting through the door and past the gatekeeper to develop a pipeline of quote opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A track record in highly driven and ambitious targeted business development and/or sales role.
* A track record in business planning/ developing contact strategies.
* Good understanding of business structures and commercial business.
* Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills, including networking skills.
* Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office, CRM and social media platforms.
* Demonstrate commitment to quality and compliance with procedures/regulations using due care, skill and diligence.
