Freelance Project Manager
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with leading provider of civil engineering for the UK's highways network and transport sector.
Due to expansion, they are seeking an experienced Freelance Project Manager to join their team to work across Area 7&9 (West Midlands and East Midlands) on an initial 3 month contract to take the lead on significant infrastructure projects, including a current live project up to the value £3m.
Aspects of the project includes earthworks, gabion wall installation, drainage, and concrete works.
Day Rate - Up for Negoatiation
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaison/meetings with clients, supply chain and delivery teams and management.
* Health & Safety management
* Attending internal CVR/progress meetings
* Financial management of projects, including procurement and assisting with costings– technical queries, early warnings, assisting QS with CE’s and costs etc
* Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
* Management and briefing of personnel.
* Resolving installation and access issues.
* Completion and submission of as-installed documentation, such as CPP, RAMS etc
* Programme and project planning
Experience required:
* Experience managing the full project packages on multi-million-pound Civils and highways projects
* SMSTS
* IOSH-Managing safely (Desirable)
* Full UK Driving License is essential, and candidates must be willing to travel, stay away from home and work nights
