Background –
You will be joining a cohesive, highly collaborative PCN in Somerset. You will have your own site and not have to work across different surgeries, meaning your role will largely mirror that of your Salaried GP colleagues.
The workload however will be slightly less given it’s unlikely you won’t hold a list and have the same admin responsibilities, won’t take part in on-call/Duty sessions and won’t have any enhanced access requirements.
Your templates will be in line with BMA recommended guidelines, with circa 12 patients per session and 15-minute appointments.
Coffee breaks are a regular feature in the constituent practices so there’ll be ample opportunities to seek support and guidance when needed, especially with the practice being a well-established GP Training Practice.
A start date of as soon as possible is preferred but late December/early January would still be considered.
Salary: c£10,000 per session – contract until March 31st with scope to extend/be made permanent
Sessions: 4-6 sessions
Location – rural Somerset, commutable from likes of Dorchester, Yeovil, Chard and Axminster
