Whitenoise is looking for a driven and highly creative medium-weight designer to join our busy and growing brand team. We work with companies across the UK, Ireland, and the globe in various sectors, including finance, logistics, tech, culture, education, and food and drink. This position offers the candidate an opportunity to play a key role in successfully meeting the creative and strategic needs of our clients, whilst working in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment.
You must have an impressive portfolio showcasing your best work on various project types, including brand development, creative ad campaigns, literature production, and retail / environmental branding. In evidence of the above, we want to see a great CV with full education and work history and references and a portfolio showcasing your best work.
We would like to find someone who creatively responds to client briefs and is comfortable and accomplished in client liaison, presenting your own and others' work. We are looking for strong attention to detail, excellent typesetting skills and a strong sense of pride in your work. Your working day will include attending client briefings and presentations, working collaboratively on design projects, noting and accounting time expenditure against project deadlines, and liaising with printers and other suppliers to maintain production quality standards. You will be fully familiar with the major Adobe CC graphics apps, have an understanding of ePubs and UX design, understand print and be comfortable with up-skilling and knowledge-sharing with the rest of the studio, including our motion and film teams.
In return we offer a great working environment where you will be encouraged, mentored and supported, and provide the opportunity to work on major projects that will have local, regional and international reach, across print, online and broadcast. As a leader in workplace wellbeing, Whitenoise pioneered the four day working week in April 2022, which offers even more opportunity for flexibility and work life balance.
