We are looking for a full-time Company Accountant to join our team, responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The firm and role provide excellent career prospects.
Job Description
* Preparation of month-end management accounts and presentation to management team.
* A sound knowledge of bookkeeping/double entry systems and journal entry.
* Processing of quarterly VAT returns, year-end accounts up to audit level, and bank account reconciliations.
* Working with and supporting other team members of the office and sales team.
* Processing monthly payroll for approximately 36 employees.
* Debtor control.
* Cash flow forecasts.
The Successful Applicant will:
* Be ACCA or ACA qualified, certified or chartered.
* Have at least 3 years’ experience in accounts.
* Have knowledge of various accounting software, ideally including IBCOS, but full product training can be given.
* Possess good organisational and communication skills.
* A good working knowledge of agriculture/farming would be an advantage.
