Primary Teacher Required in SEMH School in Chichester.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to become part of a committed team in a Special Primary School in Chichester. This position is paid to scale and demands experience with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and managing severe challenging behaviour.
Contract: 1 Year
As a Primary Teacher, you will be instrumental in crafting meaningful learning experiences for these pupils. Your skills in supporting and guiding children with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour will be essential in fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Teach and inspire pupils, creating a supportive and encouraging educational setting.
Implement high-quality teaching and learning practices tailored to the needs of pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff members to offer comprehensive pupil support.
Set and uphold high expectations for all pupils, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to achieve their potential.
An outstanding practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
Passionate about child-centred education.
Ideally, experienced in working with young people who have SEMH and challenging behaviour.
Committed to fostering an inclusive environment and ensuring equal opportunities for all pupils.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience in teaching and supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour.
Understanding of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation.
