What we can offer you; 25 days of annual leave Access to our company pension scheme Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to 24 hour access to a virtual GP, 365 days a year, for you and family members in your household One paid days leave every year to volunteer and support your community Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing; Drive mobile plant to manage the waste reception areas and load vehicles for outward waste transport Carry out weighbridge operator duties Loading waste material onto bulk haulage vehicles Use of forklift to empty process metal skips and unload vehicle deliveries of process consumables Carry out routine & basic maintenance of mobile plant, including oil and water checks etc, reporting defects found Assist with on-site traffic management and site housekeeping Operate overhead travelling refuse cranes Operate weighbridge & plant maintenance computer systems Support operations and maintenance colleagues as required routine tasks on day shift Compliance with company environmental, health, and safety procedures and statutory requirements Carry out other reasonable tasks and duties as requested by management What we're looking for; Ability to operate, or train to operate, a variety of mobile equipment and fixed plant High level of computer literacy Familiarity with health & safety procedures Able to communicate effectively orally & in writing Available and willing to work overtime (paid) when workload demands Current mobile plant and fork truck driving qualifications (not essential as training will be given) What's next?
