We have a great opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant / administrator to join a highly successful Engineering company based near Hockley. This is a permanent role.\nThe role of accounts assistant will involve\n * Working as part of a small team and assisting with accounts administration\n * Inputting of sales and purchase invoices onto Sage system\n * Dealing with general accounting queries reconciling statements and requesting credit notes\n * Bank reconciliations and movements\n * Daily banking.\n * Paying suppliers.\n * Invoicing.\n * Uploading sales onto RBS bank.\n * Keeping work in progress spreadsheet updated.\n * Keeping machine payments spreadsheet updated.\n * Keeping Tata tracker spreadsheet updated.\nThe ideal candidate for the role of accounts assistant will have\n * Experience of using Sage accounting systems\n * Accounts assistant / accounts administrator experience\n * Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels\n * Good organised administration experience\n * Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel\nThis a great opportunity to join a great family run business who have been established for over 45 years
