Qualified Early Years Officer/Room Leader
Salary: Starting from £29,227 (inclusive of LW) or pro rata for Term time
Contract Type: Permanent - 37 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.45-4.15pm Term Time only
Location: Children’s Centres/ Family Hubs
DBS requirement: Enhanced
What you’ll be doing:
To lead a team of early years practitioners in an early years setting/nursery based in a Children’s Centre, ensuring delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. You will oversee staff in the successful implementation of the daily operations of a room for children aged between 3 months to 8 years, providing full care and education. You will be responsible for supervision and mentoring for early years qualified and unqualifed staff and you will be working as part of a multi-agency team.
What you'll have:
You will need experience working with children in an early years environment, understand early years legislation and safeguarding and have obtained a Level 3 qualification in early years practice or equivalent.
