Randstad are partnered with the Empower Learning Academy Trust and are currently looking for aspiring Teaching Assistants for Hall Mead secondary school in Upminster. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of some of the additional needs children may have, and will be willing to learn new things. These opportunities are to start as soon as possible.
About the school:
1. Ofsted rated Outstanding in September 2023
2. Part of local academy trust - opportunities for professional development and progression
3. Supportive & friendly network of staff
4. On-site car park & excellent local transport links (under 1 mile from Upminster Station)
To be successful you will have:
5. An understanding of special educational needs including ASD and ADHD
6. Experience working with children, desirable but not essential
7. An enhanced DBS (we can support with this)
8. Full time availability to start immediately

Responsibilities:
10. Work closely with the whole SEN department to provide support for all children
11. Provide intervention sessions
12. Support childrens learning outside of the classroom by providing 1:1 and group support
13. Behaviour management
