Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor (4+ years) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing complex buildings, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, and delivering high-quality risk assessments in accordance with BAFE SP205.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting detailed fire risk assessments on a range of complex buildings, including schools, care homes, high-rise residential buildings, shopping centres, and more.
* Providing expert advice on fire safety compliance and best practices.
* Producing high-quality reports with clear recommendations.
* Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure fire safety measures are effectively implemented.
* Mentoring and training other fire safety consultants.
Requirements:
* Hold a recognised Level 3 or higher Fire Risk Assessment qualification through IFE, FPA, IFSM, or an equivalent body.
* Minimum Tier 2 Fire Risk Assessor membership or equivalent from a recognised Fire Risk Assessors Register (e.g., IFE, IFSM, or similar).
* Evidence of CPD events, training, and professional memberships to demonstrate ongoing development.
* Experience mentoring and training other fire safety consultants.
* Experience in validation is an advantage.
* Full UK driving licence.
