This is an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This is a key role within a dedicated specialised team, developing and implementing new engineering toolsets and lean improvements across multiple sites, contributing to one of the largest Dynamics-365 rollouts globally.
Reporting to the Team Lead, in this role you will have management responsibilities for a small team of software developers including objectives setting, performance reviews, and regular one-to-one sessions. You will collaborate in a medium-sized software development team, liaising with sales, operations, engineering, and multiple Rotork sites and ISVs across the globe. You will have shared ownership over system architecture, technical design, and DevOps. You will resolve support issues and develop new functionality.
In this role, you will be working on one of the most critical and complex parts of the D365 system infrastructure, supporting the development of the future infrastructure of product configurators to handle a wide range of complex products and system integrations across the Rotork group, including e-commerce. You will be developing toolsets using a range of different technologies to continuously develop and improve complex configurator models, their ongoing maintenance, architecture, and efficient operation.
The successful candidate will be a process-driven person who can work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment delivering end-to-end solutions.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
1. Experience within cloud technologies and agile practices.
2. Evidence of using multiple programming languages including Typescript, JSON, Node.js, and REACT.
3. Experience with the complete software lifecycle with multiple projects.
4. Have built, tested, improved, and bug-fixed many applications as well as having solid experience with SQL server development.
5. Technical design experience with system architecture at the heart of this.
