IT Service Delivery Manager - Contract Role - Energy Industry - Inside IR35
An exciting opportunity exists for an IT Service Manager at a leading energy company. As the IT Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end IT services, ensuring they are integrated and operating efficiently across multiple vendors. You'll lead on ITIL-based processes, supplier governance, and continuous service improvement to support business and industry needs.
Location: London - Hybrid - Must be onsite twice a week
Duration: 6 months
Daily rate: Competitive INSIDE IR35
What You’ll Do:
* Make sure IT services meet agreed performance levels
* Manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams
* Lead on handling major incidents and support out-of-hours if needed
* Look for ways to improve how we deliver IT services
* Ensure we follow data protection and internal rules
* Keep track of risks and help plan for outages or emergencies
* Keep everyone updated on how services are performing
Minimum Requirements:
* Strong background in IT Service Management within multi-vendor environments
* Proven experience managing service providers to agreed SLAs
* Solid understanding of ITIL framework and processes
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure
* Familiarity with the UK energy market or Ofgem regulations
* Awareness of cybersecurity and risk management in IT services
