An exciting new vacancy has become available at a leading Law Firm in Manchester for a Banking Legal Secretary.
The Legal Secretary will support a team of lawyers specialising in Banking, Corporate Finance, complex finance, investments, development, secured finance and restructuring.
The Legal Secretary role is pivotal to the success of the award-winning team. You will provide client facing and vital secretarial support to a team of fee earners, managing various tasks contributing to the overall efficiency of the Banking department. From drafting essential legal documents to coordinating meetings and communications, your meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills will ensure that everything runs seamlessly. This friendly and collaborative team is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a genuine interest in the legal aspects of banking law. Responsibilities:
* Prepare and organise legal documents and correspondence related to banking transactions using programmes such as MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
* Advanced document formatting, drafting and typing.
* Manage multiple calendars and schedule appointments and meetings for the team.
* File and maintain accurate records of all legal documents and correspondence.
* Communicate and liaise with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders professionally.
* Handle billing and invoicing tasks related to the legal services provided.
Requirements
* Prior experience as a Legal Secretary from a Banking, Finance, Corporate or Commercial background
* Able to type, draft, amend and produce documents accurately.
* Familiarity with legal terminology and banking regulations.
* Experience in managing multiple diaries.
* Proficient in using office software, including MS Office Suite and legal management systems.
* Exceptional organisational skills, keeping documents and files up to date.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a fantastic team in Manchester. The Legal Secretary will be working from the Manchester City Centre office but will benefit from having hybrid working which includes 2 days working from home per week.
Salary is depending on experience. Market leading benefits package.
