Business Development Manager - Payments (iGaming)

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager with the passion and tenacity to manage the end-to-end sales process for our global suite of products within the iGaming industry. As a vital member of the commercial team, your mission will be to keep our clients satisfied while helping them maximize value. Collaboration across teams, including Sales, Product Management, Merchant Operations, IT Development, Treasury, and Risk, is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new business sales to meet individual and team targets.
* Grow top-line revenue within accounts once live.
* Manage the full lifecycle of new merchants: identify, qualify, analyse, present, negotiate, and close deals.
* Generate leads via trade shows, associations, conferences, warm referrals, and established relationships in the payments industry.
* Collaborate with Marketing to manage leads and report on activity outcomes.
* Work closely with product owners to identify strategic partnership opportunities, backed by business cases and financial analysis.
* Use data and analytical tools to identify growth opportunities and demonstrate business impact.
* Build strong relationships across internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
* Negotiate legal and financial agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, and contracts.
* Represent the company at leading industry events like ICE, EIG, and SBC.
Qualifications and Skills
* 3+ years of proven experience in the iGaming or payments industry with a record of exceeding sales targets.
* Demonstrated success in mid-size to large business environments.
* A strong network of industry contacts.
* Confident, pragmatic, and a highly effective influencer.
* Skilled at managing high workloads and multitasking.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred but not essential.
