A popular school located in Cheshunt is interested in securing an IT teacher to join their team. This Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school is seeking a teacher of IT on a full-time basis. The school is within walking distance to a range of transport links, shops, and amenities.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND IT TEACHER CONTRACT:
- A medium-sized secondary school
- To assist the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching in your subject is of high quality and contributes to the department's improvement plan.
- To participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school.
- To deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies, and teaching strategies so that student needs can be met.
- To report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.
THE RIGHT IT TEACHER WILL BE:
- Confident with teaching IT to an A level standard
- Creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
- Degree related to IT teaching
- Teaching qualification - QTS/PGCE
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
- A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
