Inspector Job Description: Operation of a variety of Inspection equipment (Micrometres, Height Gauges, Calipers etc.) Operation of Faro Portable Measuring Arm Knowledge and understanding of GD&T, Surface Condition requirements and testing Inspecting a variety of Thread types (Stub Acme, Metric, Square, Trapezoidal, Unified etc.) Inspection and recording of all relevant dimension Carry out calibration of equipment Create/amend reports (word/excel) Read and Interpret customer quality requirements Requirements: Able to demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment Demonstrate knowledge of ISO 9001 Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded Experience operating Faro Portable Measuring Arm is essential for this position Inspector Working Hours: Monday Thursday: 0730 - 1605 Friday: 0730 - 1330 This position is initially temporary; however, successful candidates can secure a permanent role based on performance and business requirements.
