BluePool Computer Services Ltd are looking for an IT Support Engineer.
We are an IT company based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire and have been established for over 22 years with a customer base across Yorkshire and beyond. We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to troubleshoot various IT issues effectively. The IT Support professional will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Role:
You will be primarily working as a first line support engineer and will pro-actively monitor, escalate, and pursue outstanding Helpdesk calls to ensure that they are responded to promptly. You are responsible for following through to a resolution to agreed service levels, whilst providing the highest level of customer service. Throughout this process, you will ensure customers are kept fully informed of the progress of their Helpdesk calls and they are satisfied with the resolution when completed. You will also be involved in specifying, creating customer sales orders, and ordering new equipment for installation and configuration.
You will be primarily based in our office in Doncaster; after an initial probationary period, there may be scope for hybrid working.

1. Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience working in a Helpdesk environment.
2. Good timekeeping.
3. Experience of being the first point of contact for inbound customer calls/emails/messages received into the Helpdesk.
4. Great customer service skills along with a good, confident telephone manner.
5. Someone who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment and can cope with balancing the needs of different customers and prioritising based on severity.
6. Maintains an extremely positive attitude and demonstrates a high attention to detail.
7. Problem/Incident management, and the ability to get to the root cause of issues.
8. Immediately flag major incidents and escalate accordingly.
9. Ability to logically troubleshoot issues and investigate larger issues.
10. Experience with Windows 10/11 and server operating systems.
11. Experience of Mobile devices Android & IOS.
12. Basic Microsoft Office 365 Admin.
13. Basic Network Troubleshooting.
14. Shows a high standard of spoken & written English to enable good communications with our customers and suppliers.
15. Full driving UK license.
The Package:
Permanent, full-time position – 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
28 days holiday including statutory.
Free parking.
Pension.
