This role offers scope to drive strategy briefs and manage these autonomously for cutting-edge global brands. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest brands such as Amazon, Google, Ancestry, Microsoft, Diageo, and North Face.
Please note, this is a 6-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).
Role
As a Senior Strategist, you will be responsible for leading, developing & maintaining effective social communications strategies for our clients. This will involve developing a deep understanding of our clients' business goals, marketing strategies, and processes, partnering with them to identify how our work will drive innovative and transformative solutions that support their needs and help them succeed.
You will be confident in leading client communications and becoming a trusted peer for senior clients. You will ensure the work delivered for clients is constantly aligned to the vision. You will work autonomously and in partnership with client leads, insights, and community heads. You will be comfortable undertaking research and analysis that underpins your recommendations with insight.
You will work closely with the insights function to steer and undertake audits that act as the foundations for strategy.
You will work closely with the community function to ensure any strategic recommendations can be implemented effectively. You will ensure that measurement is meaningful by recommending core and bespoke metrics to track to help us optimize and evolve strategic recommendations over time. You will be commercially minded, working with the Function Lead to help drive growth for the function, productize strategy, evolve and develop the function proposition, and maintain/grow beyond target utilization levels.
Responsibilities
* Using research and data to deliver insights that fuel the creative process across the agency.
* Working with the insights team on audits, strategy, and reporting.
* Working with the community on implementation design.
* Delivering strategic recommendations across social and content strategy using relevant frameworks.
* Briefing the ideation team with ideation briefs and stimulus you have created.
* Governance.
* Briefing the insights team on measurement and helping to shape meaningful and actionable narratives.

Requirements
* Social-first strategy experience and a background creating social media/digital campaigns.
* Ability to generate new ideas for improving the agency's delivery of work.
* Ability to work effectively with the Creative department.
* Demonstrable experience and vision in social & digital.
* Strong analytical skills.
* 8+ years' agency experience.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Passionate, energetic, and confident.
* Proactive: self-motivated.
* Team player: flexible and challenging.
* Marketing or media-related degree or equivalent experience.
