We are seeking a skilled time served Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all mechanical systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
1. Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate repairs needed.
2. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
3. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
4. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance skills.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
3. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
6. A relevant qualification in mechanics or engineering is an advantage but not essential.
