This part-time (0.6 WTE 22.3 hours)Band 6 Physiotherapist role within Stroke represents a fantastic opportunity to join a hard-working, high-performing, friendly and supportive team. The stroke team cover a 19 bedded acute/rehab stroke unit and work as part of a well integrated and collaborative MDT. The team is supported on site by a B7 APP and regionally by strong MCN (Managed Clinical Network) leadership.
As a B6 you will get the opportunity to clinically supervise our B5 Physiotherapists as well as support workers. You will also provide clinical education to our physiotherapy students on placement.
There is an expectation with this role that you will join the on call physiotherapy rota.
This post will be within the Stroke team, based in University Hospital Monklands.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC Registration
2. Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
3. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
4. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
5. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality / area of practice.
6. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.
7. Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification
8. The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative
9. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
10. Effective time management skills
11. Working knowledge of basic information technology
