As a Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing housing support to single people in need. You will work directly with individuals at risk of losing their homes, helping them build the skills and confidence to secure long-term tenancy.
This role requires flexibility, as you will be based where support is most needed. Mileage will be paid for travel within the service area.
Key Responsibilities
* Build strong, supportive relationships with residents, colleagues, landlords, and partner agencies
* Provide practical housing support and guidance, ensuring individuals can sustain independent living
* Develop and maintain high-quality Support Plans tailored to individual needs
* Support the Property Services team in ensuring housing compliance and high accommodation standards
* Assist individuals in overcoming the challenges of homelessness and its associated traumas

* Strong understanding of housing management, and support services
* Problem-solving skills and an ability to work with partner agencies to find sustainable solutions
* Excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work-related travel
