Caerphilly County Borough Council are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Project Officer with experience of successful regeneration project delivery. In this varied role, you will support the delivery of projects, identifying needs and opportunities for physical regeneration interventions alongside seeking out funding opportunities. You will have relevant knowledge of a range of regeneration improvement policies and practices as well as practical experience delivering successful and meaningful projects.
You will be able to demonstrate good time and project management skills, experience in managing and monitoring funding streams plus enjoy the challenge of working with others to problem solve. For the role, we ask that you have: The relevant Level 5 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example, an HND. An understanding of regeneration in a South Wales regional context alongside, significant in-depth knowledge and understanding of regional and UK funding programmes. An ability to develop complicated project implementation programmes, with a demonstrable ability to project manage and supervise the work of contractors and consultants.
