We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our team on a contract/freelance basis for a 12 Month project in the West Midlands.
Role Overview:
The Electrical BMS Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and integration of various building management systems in commercial and industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commissioning technologies such as Delta, Trend, Cylon, ABB, or Tridium, and will be proficient in ensuring the proper functionality and performance of these systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning plans and schedules for building management systems.
2. Conduct commissioning activities, including hardware and software integration, calibration, and testing.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to commissioning, ensuring optimal system performance.
4. Coordinate with other engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of commissioning tasks.
5. Document commissioning procedures, findings, and recommendations for system enhancements.
6. Provide technical support to clients during the commissioning process and address any inquiries or concerns.
7. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and share insights to enhance commissioning processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an Electrical BMS Commissioning Engineer or similar role.
2. Strong expertise in commissioning technologies such as Delta, Trend, Cylon, ABB, or Tridium.
3. Familiarity with building management systems, HVAC systems, and controls.
4. Possession of either an ECS card or a CSCS card is mandatory.
5. Full UK driver's license is essential.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Ability to work independently and manage tasks within the given timeframe.
9. Flexible and adaptable approach to varying project requirements.
