Chief People Officer Scaling Tech Energy Business
Our client, as part of a full People and talent build are seeking a CPO to shape and lead its People strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, scalability, and a thriving culture.
As the organisation continues to expand, it requires a visionary leader to drive transformation, engagement, and organisational excellence at scale.
The Growth Story:
Two years ago, the company was delivering less than 100m with 150 employees. Today, it has scaled to £325m revenue and are about to hit 300 employees.
To sustain this momentum, the business needs a strategic People leader who can align People operations with business success and optimisation.
The Role:
The CPO will be responsible for evolving the People strategy, culture, and talent agenda, ensuring the business attracts, retains, and develops top-tier talent in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. People Strategy & Leadership – Design and execute a future-proof People strategy that enables business growth and operational excellence.
2. Scaling & Organisational Design – Build and evolve a People function that supports rapid expansion, ensuring structure, processes, and culture scale effectively.
3. Culture & Engagement – Champion a progressive, inclusive, and high-performance culture where employees can thrive.
4. Talent & Leadership Development – Strengthen leadership capability, drive workforce planning, and implement initiatives that enable employees to perform at their best.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making – Leverage HR analytics and insights to drive strategy, optimise processes, and influence executive decisions.
6. International Expansion – Oversee People operations across multiple geographies, ensuring compliance and best practices as the company scales globally.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven CPO/Executive HR leadership experience in high-growth environments.
2. Commercial & business-aligned mindset, with the ability to create a People strategy that drives business success.
3. Change & transformation expertise, with experience implementing strategic HR initiatives that drive long-term impact.
4. Data & analytics focus, using People insights to guide decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve.
