Overview of the role:
The role plays a fundamental part in supplying information and data allowing decisions to be made on the timely and accurate data inputted into the in-house computer systems by the job holder. The job holder will have the responsibility for maintaining the systems to supply reports and information on time to people at all levels within the business. This may be through scheduled reports or by information requested by internal stakeholders should it be required. The job holder should have the ability to multitask and perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. They should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess strong written and verbal skills to assist in communicating information to the relevant persons.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all Health & Safety regulations and requirements are adhered to, following company policy in reporting and dealing with non-compliance.
2. Proficiency in data entry software and tools.
3. Attention to detail and accuracy in the information collated and supplied.
4. Time management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks.
5. Communication and interpersonal skills to all levels within the business.
6. Support the Production and Quality departments in compiling and generating the required information to make informed decisions based on their analysis.
7. Drive improvements striving toward a continuous improvement culture based on the information the job holder supplies.
8. Identify areas of concern to the business through their analysis, such as lack of performance and high scrap levels produced.
9. Maintain overview of production project plan via the Materials and Planning Manager to ensure deliveries are met.
10. Participate in team meetings by supplying information in real-time to allow remedial action to be taken.
11. Any additional tasks as set by the Production Director as required.
12. Assist and facilitate tasks in the dispatch and logistics areas of the business as designated by the MP and L Manager.
13. Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is required.
Hours:
Monday to Friday - 7am - 4pm (can be flexible for the right candidate)
