Band 4 Dietetic Administrative Coordinator- Community Dietetics ABUHB Fixed term to end of March 2025
Do you want to be part of an exciting new administrative role that will be vital in supporting patients in community hospitals & supporting the delivery of various Community Dietetic Services including Diabetes Education, Nutrition Skills For Life & dietetic service within care homes and community hospitals across ABUHB?
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Community Dietetics team in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The post holder will be based in Ty Gwent (Caerloen House temporary base).
The post holder will play a vital role in taking the lead in the administrative roles linked to public health and Agored Cymru processes to ensure the robust delivery of our Nutrition Skills For Life Service. This is a fixed term post but based on the success we are looking to secure more permanent funding in the future.
This post is fixed term/secondment until 31st March 2025 due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.
Main duties of the job
The individual will work with representatives across Community Dietetics, as well as varying members within ABUHB teams, Agored Cymrurepresentatives and directly with patients or members of the public to ensure the smooth running of the administrative processes within variousparts of the Community Dietetic Services.
The post holder will act as first point of contact and respond to internal or external enquiries to the department, and escalate if appropriate. Theywill provide reports on training activity required by internal teams & for external stakeholders and feed into wider All Wales data collection forNutrition Skills for Life. The post holder will provide administrative support in compliance with ABUHB and departmental procedures to maintainhigh quality staffing records for the department
The post holder will provide key support to the Professional Manager and Dietetic Team Leads with adminsitrative tasks linked to smooth service running, development of projects and pull together key performance elements. The post holder will support the professionalmanager with the enrolment of new staff - to include processing requests for access to IT folders, ID badges and population of thepayroll enrolment form.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
