Location: Leeds (hybrid) / UK (remote)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience) + Commission (OTE: Up to 2x base salary)
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Client Director to join our rapidly growing cyber security company. This pivotal role will focus on driving new business acquisitions and building lasting client relationships. As a key player in our sales leadership team, you will leverage your expertise in enterprise sales and cyber security to deliver tailored solutions that address complex client challenges.

Key Responsibilities
New Business Generation
1. Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise-level clients to build a robust business book.
2. Develop and execute innovative lead generation strategies, leveraging networking, market research, and industry connections.
3. Deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations to secure new contracts and drive revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management
1. Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.
2. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client business challenges and providing tailored cyber security solutions.
Account Growth & Retention
1. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow and develop client accounts.
2. Develop and implement account plans to ensure sustainable revenue growth and retention.
3. Lead contract renewal negotiations, ensuring favourable outcomes for both the client and Cognisys.
Strategic Planning
1. Collaborate with clients to align cyber security solutions with their strategic goals and business objectives.
2. Drive joint business planning, including quarterly and annual review sessions, to monitor progress and identify new opportunities.
3. Achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets through effective strategy execution.
Project Oversight & Delivery
1. Partner with internal teams (e.g. delivery, technical support) to ensure seamless implementation and execution of services/products.
2. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to maintain alignment with client expectations.
3. Address escalations and resolve issues promptly while maintaining client trust.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
1. Track and report on account performance, including revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction metrics.
2. Provide regular updates to leadership on account health, risks, and opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Advocacy
1. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
2. Advocate for client needs internally, influencing product development and innovation.
Compliance & Administration
1. Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, including SLAs and regulatory requirements.
2. Maintain accurate records of account activities and communications in CRM systems.
Requirements
Must-Haves
1. Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with recent experience in cyber security.
2. Proven track record of success in enterprise-level sales, account management, or business development.
3. Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close high-value deals.
4. Strong experience managing and growing high-value client accounts.
5. Strategic thinker with exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
6. Industry expertise in cyber security, technology, or SaaS.
7. Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in high-growth environments.
Desirables
1. Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or Challenger.
2. Knowledge of compliance frameworks or technical standards related to cyber security.
3. Advanced qualifications such as an MBA or relevant professional certifications.
4. Proficiency in using CRMs such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
