Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week (Term Time Only)
Dinnington High School is seeking a dedicated Assistant SENDCO to support in leading the School’s SEND, SEMH, and Alternative Provision.
Working closely with the SENDCO and Director of Inclusion, you will help to develop and maintain high-quality SEND provision, which will set a benchmark for other schools across the Trust. You will help to lead and manage the Learning Support department, ensuring a collaborative approach to raising levels of attainment and progress for SEND students. The role will involve using data to inform planning, track progress, and continuously improve support strategies, all while fostering positive relationships with families, staff, and students.
We are looking for someone with experience in teaching or tutoring SEND students, alongside a proven ability to apply ICT to enhance learning for students with SEND. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the management of staff and the implementation of effective behaviour management strategies tailored to SEND learners.
