We are now recruiting a Brand Manager within the Customer Marketing function to help build the channel and customer marketing plans for the professional brands; Dulux Trade and Armstead, as well as create and execute ‘path to purchase’ marketing programmes.
Brand Manager – The Role
* Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive shopper activation strategies that align with overall business objectives and marketing plans.
* Campaign Management: Lead the development, execution, and evaluation of shopper activation campaigns, including in-store promotions, digital engagement, and experiential marketing.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, merchandising, and external partners to ensure cohesive and effective shopper activation initiatives.
* Market Research: Conduct market and shopper insights research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Budget Management: Manage budgets for shopper activation programs, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while achieving desired outcomes.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of shopper activation activities, using key metrics and data to optimize future campaigns.
* Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality execution of activation initiatives.
* Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on shopper activation performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Brand Manager – About You
* Experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or a similar role within the retail or FMCG industry.
* Strong understanding of shopper behaviour, retail environments, and marketing principles.
* Proven ability to develop and execute successful shopper activation campaigns.
* Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and data analysis.
* Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
* Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant marketing software.
