Role Overview
This is a brand-new technology for my clients organisation, and we are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator who can help us maximise the potential of this solution and realise the benefits as quickly as possible.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how Salesforce is used to support our Contact Centre operations and other business functions, ensuring it delivers value from day one. Experience of Contact Centre operations is highly desirable, as you will be instrumental in aligning the platform’s capabilities with the needs of our teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Platform Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Salesforce platform, including managing user accounts, permissions, roles, and security settings.
* Configuration and Customisation: Tailor Salesforce using declarative tools such as Flows, Process Builder, page layouts, validation rules, and more to meet business needs.
* Data Management: Ensure data integrity and security by managing data imports, exports, backups, and cleansing activities.
* User Support and Training: Act as the primary point of contact for user queries, providing training and guidance to ensure the system is used effectively.
* Optimisation and Enhancements: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing solutions to optimise Salesforce for maximum efficiency and user satisfaction.
* Reporting and Insights: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making.
* Integration and Collaboration: Work with internal IT teams and external partners to integrate Salesforce with other business systems and ensure seamless functionality.
* Change Management: Manage platform updates, ensure adherence to best practices, and implement a structured approach to change management.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business teams, particularly Contact Centre stakeholders, to understand their needs and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification highly desirable.
* Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning Experience, configuration tools, and security model.
* Contact Centre Knowledge: Experience in Contact Centre operations or similar customer-facing environments is a significant advantage.
* Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyse business challenges and deliver effective Salesforce solutions.
* Data Skills: Familiarity with data tools such as Data Loader and knowledge of data cleansing best practices.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels.
* Knowledge of Ecosystem: Familiarity with AppExchange products and basic knowledge of Apex/Visualforce is a plus.
