These exciting roles play a key part in the delivery of placemaking outcomes in West Dunbartonshire and will work as part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team to deliver strategic development.
What You'll Do:
* Support the delivery of major and strategic development sites.
* Process local applications and related consents.
* Implement local and national planning priorities.
* Work with Development Planning colleagues, developers, communities, and key stakeholders to deliver the aspirations and development opportunities identified within the Local Development Plan.
* Process enquiries related to suspected breaches of planning control.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking excellent communicators who have a passion for planning and commitment to delivering for the communities of West Dunbartonshire.
You'll Need:
* Experience within a planning background, ideally within a Development Management setting.
* A relevant planning degree or equivalent.
* Full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute is required for the Grade 8 post.
