The role is working within the medical records department and will also be providing receptionist support for the main hospital, Outpatient and Radiology departments.
This role is located at Evesham Community Hospital.
Contracted hours would be Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job
1. Meet and greet patients, visitors, contractors, couriers, and delivery personnel.
2. Be of cheerful and friendly disposition.
3. Operate telephone call centre and telephonic appointment system.
4. Prepare and hand over patient files for the outpatient clinics.
5. Record outpatient clinic outcomes in the patient record applications.
6. Support in covering the Radiology reception desk of the hospital.
7. Able to multi-task and think on your feet.
8. Operating car park barrier and door entry system.
9. Ensure photocopier is filled and supplies maintained.
10. Scanning, photocopying, laminating, uploading of documents.
11. Ensure stationery supply levels and re-order as necessary.
12. Report any faulty equipment to facilities.
13. Scan and email patient referrals and pharmacy requests.
14. Ensure Reception is clean and tidy.
15. Keep noticeboards up to date.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 2 qualification in a Business Administration related subject, for example NVQ, OCR/RSA, City and Guilds, GCSE (Grade A-C).
* I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer.
Experience
* Relevant, recent office experience.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of office procedures.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Understanding of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality.
Skills and Abilities
* A positive attitude and able to act on feedback.
* Ability to be supportive to others.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English in both verbal and written formats.
* A flexible and adaptable team member.
* Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
