Our client, M&E Contractor based in Kent who have been in the industry for over 40 years, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor. This role involves the management of contractual and financial aspects of M&E construction projects, including preparing Payment Applications, Cashflows, Monthly P&L Reports, and Cost Estimates. The ideal candidate will manage all key financials of contract management, ensuring projects are delivered on budget and meet quality standards.
Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
Prepare and update project budgets and conduct cost analyses for various project stages.
Prepare and management of contracts and procurement documentation and evaluate and negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Manage interim valuations and final accounts and monthly P & L Reports.
Maintain accurate records of all projects related financial and contractual documents and prepare regular reports on project status, costs, and budget forecasts
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) in a similar role (minimum 5 years)
Good Knowledge of construction contract law
Desirable to hold QS Degree
Able to demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the necessity for financial regulatory controls
Ability to advise on the financial aspects of construction
