Job Title: Facilities Supervisor (Housekeeping)
Hours: 20 hours per week
Reports to: Contract Manager

What you need to do the job:
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate Excellent Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office 365 Suite. The role requires excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills. It goes without saying that you must have excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work under pressure and flexibility within a busy team. It is essential that you have the ability to work to tight schedules and pressurised deadlines.
This role requires the commitment to quality of service. Additionally, you must have an enthusiastic approach within a target orientated environment.
Some of the duties involved are:
- To manage a team of Housekeeping Staff
- Ensure overall cleanliness of the Office is maintained to ensure a clean and decent condition is maintained throughout.
- Conduct audits in line with contractual requirements.
- Make sure all staff are competent in their roles and are trained and understand how to use equipment and appliances.
- Make sure all staff adhere to COSHH and SSOW practices. Ensure staff have knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace such as manual handling etc.
- To maintain accurate records and data and make sure all relevant paperwork is correct.
- Maintaining adequate levels of cleaning supplies and manage stock control.
- Make sure all staff are up to date with mandatory training such as Serco Essentials.
- Utilise an electronic management system to log, monitor and close out requests for services or service failures for all tenants.
- Any other Ad Hoc Duties
