The role itself will provide a wide range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers centralised around our local centre here in Cramlington. What’s involved? Operating a Variety of Tanker units, you will carry out a range of services associated with the tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains, whilst delivering an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise. Predominantly you will be carrying our pre-planned maintenance works and in some cases emergency reactive work Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards Carrying out surveys Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year What do we look for? Suitable candidates will be able to display a great working attitude together with skills pertaining to the clearance, cleaning and repair of both internal small bore and external drainage systems. Candidates will be considered suitable if they reside within Northumberland, Newcastle, Sunderland and Durham or the surrounding areas (postcodes of NE, SR, DH) or live within very close proximity in order to meet the quality of our service and demands of this role.
