What skills and experience we're looking for
Our GTAs (General Teaching Assistant) are key members of our highly valued class teams in supporting the provision of consistently high quality of education and the holistic needs of our pupils. Our GTAs work under the direction of the class teacher and other lead staff in assisting in and contributing to the planning, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of the learning process.
The post holder will work in classes supervising groups and /or individual pupils.
You must be flexible and be prepared to work in any phase within the school.

Our school is set in a rural location between the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales. We are an LA (Local Authority) Maintained Community Special School for pupils aged 2-19; and we support consistently good or better outcomes for our learners with MLD, SLD and/or PMLD. You will benefit from a highly skilled and collaborative team of class-based staff, led by our middle leader team, and a comprehensive and high quality CPD (Continual Professional Development) package.
