Redwell Medical Centre are looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner, either an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Paramedic or Clinical Pharmacist. Ideally the post holder will be an independent prescriber and have experience within Primary Care. The role is for 32 hours per week, spread over 4 days, ideally Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri.
Main duties of the job
The Clinician will be responsible for their own telephone and F2F clinics (mainly minor illness), manage the practice's two residential/nursing care homes which includes weekly ward rounds, as well as perform home visits as required.
The Clincian, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for thepresenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis,treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinicaldecision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills,for patients within general practice. They will be responsible for viewing, filing and actioning laboratory results, making referrals and reviewing clinical letters as necessary.

We are a practice of 4 Partners, 3 of whom are GPs and 1 is an Advanced PharmacistPractitioner. We currently have 3 other salaried GPs, an Advanced NursePractitioner, 1 Specialist Nurse, 2 Practice Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate and 1HCA. We are well supported by a Business Manager, Operations Manager, OfficeManager, Admin Support Manager and a friendly administration team. We also workclosely with the PCN (Primary Care Network) and local Hub, using the services of aPharmacist, Paramedic Home Visiting Service, Physiotherapists, CATCH team Nurses and SocialPrescribers.
We are an EMIS web practice with approximately 12,200 registered patients living in theWellingborough area and surrounding villages, we area successful forward thinking Practice with a track record of achievement.
Job responsibilities
