Bristow Holland is working with an outstanding Blockchain business who is looking to hire a DevOps Platform Engineer in a fully remote role. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, Agile environment, with a passion for automation, cloud infrastructure, and cross-team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of the current continuous integration environment and drive improvements in efficiency and reliability Design, implement and manage CI/CD processes that support cloud deployments Develop and maintain deployment scripts and supporting tools Collaborate with product, development, and business teams to deeply understand project goals and requirements Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s applications and systems Stay up to date with the latest innovations in DevOps and cloud technologies Oversee hardware lifecycle management, including provisioning and access control Enforce and uphold device management and security access policies Essential Requirements: 3 years of DevOps or Release Engineering experience, with at least 1 year in an Agile environment Proven experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) Strong experience creating modern CI/CD pipelines (YAML-based) Excellent shell scripting skills in a Linux/Unix environment Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised applications Solid understanding of Git and version control practices Experience supporting multi-tier systems including databases, app servers, and web/mobile apps Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) Experience developing and enforcing IT policies for compliance (e.g., ISO27001, SOC2) Organised, analytical, and able to work independently in a flexible remote environment Desirable Skills: Experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform Basic programming and SQL (especially PostgreSQL) knowledge Exposure to GitOps and Infrastructure Automation in AWS Familiarity with Google Workspaces and Single Sign-On (SSO)
