As Sister / Charge Nurse of the Paediatric Department, you will help lead and manage the department so that high quality, evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients and their carers.
You will be an integral member of our team who maintains our ongoing achievement of the emergency access standards. You must be committed to providing high quality nursing care; you will provide strong leadership and mentorship to junior staff and help support the senior team.
You will be a highly visible leader and be experienced as a professional role model. In working in a progressively changing environment, you will promote the Trust's values and be committed to high standards of service delivery.

While working as a paediatric band 6 junior sister within the ED team, you will provide care to a range of patients within your scope of practice. To contribute to the delivery of high standards of nursing care, the post holder will be required to take charge of the paediatric area of the department and assist with the smooth running of the department, with the ongoing support from the band 7 team and professional development training team.

* RNC NMC PIN
* Minimum of 2 years experience qualified and working in a Children's hospital setting.
* Your Personal Statement and previous experience will assist the team during the shortlisting process. It is important that the applicant meets the essential criteria found in the person specification.
