As a UX Research Operations Executive at Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), you will be part of the research operations ensuring user research takes place in a secure and efficient way.
You will collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers and UX Researchers, within the Money Helper Pension Dashboard (MHPD) project and Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP), and will be responsible for setting up and co-ordinating two phases of research, in- person moderated testing and online/remote unmoderated testing.

In this role you will be responsible for the following;
* Drive all aspects of the UX research operations coordination program across MaPS End to End Journey testing.
* Maintain deep working knowledge of the participant recruitment process and establish best practices for participant recruitment.
* Manage day to day recruitment administration tasks such as organising payments and collecting consent.
* Use MS forms and teams for development of screeners and consent forms.
* Anticipate and troubleshoot recruitment challenges as they arise.
* Determine the best possible recruitment source for a given study.
* Understand the pros and cons of each recruitment source.
* Proactively report and feed into workstream meetings, highlighting any blockers or key data.
* Use in-house participant panels for recruitment where possible.
* Stay aware of and implement GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) policies and GDS standards.
* Develop and manage participant panel growth strategies.
* Establish best practices for participant recruitment.
You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
* Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills.
* Knowledge of user centred design processes and best practices.
* Simultaneously manage multiple projects and time-driven tasks in Agile working environment.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to keep teams informed on progress.
* Understanding of effective sampling, screening and consent process in research management.
* Critical thinking and creative problem solving.
* Adaptability and flexibility.
* Empathetic, curious, and open-minded.
* Attention to detail.
* Guidance on ethics and how to comply with GDPR requirements and GDS standards.
* Ability to travel for work across the country.
* Logistics – booking travel and accommodation, data handling, participant handling and hosting.
Desirable:
* Knowledge and experience of using online community platforms/panel software e.g. Consent Kit.
* Knowledge and experience of using task based unmoderated testing software e.g. User Zoom/Indeemo
* Knowledge and experience of using MS Forms and MS Teams secure channels.
* Experience of running internal participant recruitment (through internal contacts, GOV.UK panels and external recruitment agencies)
* Device, lighting and camera angle management in research studios
* Training on lab operations and running research in a lab setting
* General administration (emails, bookings, phone calls, printing)
* Guidance on research data storage

At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. Most of our roles can operate on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, noncontractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs.
