Client: My client are a mechanical and electrical building services contractor specialising in high end residential projects across London and the home counties. Trading for over 20 years, our client is recognised as a market leading MEP Super Prime Residential contractor. Projects can range from £2m - £5m+ MEP value.\n\nDevelopment of good working relationships with their clients is key to our client’s success.
As a result, they benefit from a large amount of repeat business. The majority of our client base comes through personal recommendation, referrals and repeat business and includes numerous Tier 1 Residential Contractors.\n\nAs a result of a period of sustained growth in turnover, they are actively looking to recruit for their operational team. They seek the following.\n\nRole: MEP Project Manager: £325-£350 per day or £70,000-£75,000\n\nMy client are happy for their Project Managers to have a mechanical or electrical bias as long as they have extensive experience running mixed services on residential projects.\n\nThe project is a large penthouse refurbishment worth circa £3.5m M&E.\n\nRole/Responsibilities:\n\n * Procurement of kit\n\n * Follow the Contractor’s construction programme\n\n * Value Engineering where applicable\n\n * Health & Safety management (RAMs)\n\n * Technical submittals\n\n * Commercial Responsibility, working alongside Quantity Survey\n\n * Team Coordination (overseeing junior engineers, construction managers and supervisors)\n\n * Progress meetings\n\n * Overseeing commissioning stages\n\n * Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover\n\nThe ideal candidate:\n\n * Have extensive experience running mixed services\n\n * Experience working in the residential sector\n\n * The candidate will show longevity in previous employment\n\n * Relationship management, team coordination and project reporting are key to this position.\n\nIn return they offer:\n\n * A healthy pipeline of work – our client has secured the majority of their turnover for next year.\n\n * Join a stable business who have an excellent staff attrition rate.\n\n * Internal promotion and development is something our client massively encourage.
