Lead Tutor for GCSE Maths and/or English Resit Tuition
Location: In-person in Birmingham. May be required to travel to South and City College at
B312TW, South Staffordshire College at B798AE, and/or Sandwell College at B706AW.
Hours : Full and part-time (minimum 15 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed Term January/February 2025 – May 2025
Salary: £23,600 per year (pro rata for part-time)
Benefits: 3% pension, 36 days annual leave (pro rata), ongoing professional development

Role Description:
We’re seeking passionate Lead Tutors to deliver bespoke English and/or maths resit tutoring sessions at our partner college(s) in Birmingham. You’ll play a key role in:
• Delivering high-quality tuition sessions
• Building strong relationships with staff and students
• Setting benchmarks by demonstrating high-quality tutoring and professionalism,
acting as a role model for other tutors
• Supporting the development of tutor training and resources

• Passionate about tackling educational inequality.
• Resilient, proactive, and enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication and planning skills.
• Experience in teaching/education.
