Conveyancing Assistant
Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00
Location: BS2 Bristol

An opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established law firm in Bristol. This reputable firm has a large client base and prides itself on its local relationships. The successful candidate will work within a team-oriented environment as part of an ever-expanding business.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Conveyancer in progressing transactions in accordance with established procedures and standards.
2. Liaise with clients and keep them informed at all times.
3. Provide support and assistance to the team supervisor as required.
4. Ensure the Case Management system is used to progress cases and is kept up to date.
5. Serve as the first point of contact for telephone calls and visitors, handling queries and escalating to the Conveyancer when necessary.
6. Work in the best interest of the client and the firm, providing the highest standards of client care.
7. Handle all client monies in accordance with Solicitors Regulatory Authority and/or Law Society guidelines.
8. Assist in the training of other staff as required.
9. Carry out other duties as reasonably required in relation to this position.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have experience working on a large caseload within a fast-paced environment, previous experience in residential property, and familiarity with case management systems. Ideal candidates may have worked as a Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Paralegal, or Residential Conveyancing Assistant.
