A vacancy has arisen within the Women, Children, Clinical Services and Sexual Health Department for a Band 5 sexual health practitioner. This post is permanent and will be within the sexual health department. The post holder must have first level registration, have a keen interest in the sexual health service and is expected to have the fundamental skills required to provide a comprehensive family planning/sexual health service. The Sexual health service provides routine and complex contraception, routine and symptomatic testing and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, HIV Care, Pre and Post Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV (PrEP and PEP) as well as general advice and support. In addition, experience of using the Nash patient electronic record system would be beneficial. The Sexual Health Service provides clinics within Falkirk Community Hospital, Stirling Community Hospital and Clackmannan Community Hospital. There is a requirement to work evenings but at present no weekend work. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
