Location: London (The role will be based at the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) We are looking for a highly proactive and self-motivated Personal Assistant to support our London Area Director. If you're an experienced senior-level administrator able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, we would like to hear from you. In this role, you'll oversee an often demanding and complex calendar, handling scheduling conflicts and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will also include governance work: organising committee meetings and drafting minutes to a high standard for publication. Key skills include: Extensive experience in senior-level administrative roles, with a focus on managing complex diaries and tasks. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise effectively, and make sound judgments in fast-moving situations. Understand the key role that confidentiality plays and the importance of trust in key strategic relationships and partnerships. Experience in governance work, including coordinating and managing committee meetings. A keen eye for detail, especially when drafting and formatting minutes to a publishable standard. The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting to different working styles and priorities. Knowledge or experience in the arts, culture, or public sector is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, to manage tasks independently while also working well within a team, and have a proactive, solution-focused approach. The role will be hybrid (office based and working from home) however you will be required to attend and manage in-person meetings regularly in London.
