Entry Requirements
1. You should already hold or be working towards a minimum of 2 GCSE's A*-C/ grade 4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English Language.
2. You are not eligible if you currently hold or are working towards a qualification at the same or higher level in a related subject or have already studied content from the qualification for this scheme.
3. You must provide original certificates and/or predicted grades as proof for your eligibility checks.
4. You must be 18 years of age by 8th September 2025 to be eligible for this scheme.

Job Overview
The role of a London Underground engineering apprentice is critical to ensuring the ongoing performance and safety of our tube network. You'll gain hands-on experience working across our iconic network, learning from highly skilled professionals.
What Will I Be Doing?
Your 3-year development programme will consist of up to 4 or 5 placement rotations. Here's an idea of what yours could look like:
Year 1
This will include placements across the track renewals areas:
1. Track Surveying
2. Health and Safety Team
3. Construction Management Team
4. Operational Delivery
Year 2
Placement I - Deep Tube Renewals
Your roles and responsibilities will include:
1. Ensure that the required standard of quality is achieved and maintained at all times.
2. Assist with works construction planning expertise, review and challenge proposed construction methodologies.
3. Assist with integrating construction schedules and methodologies with interfacing projects.
4. Assist with the risk management process and take responsibility for construction-related activities.
