An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ophthalmic technicians to work in the ophthalmic department at the Royal Free hospital. We see patients with a number of ophthalmology conditions, including medical retina and glaucoma.
Working in a friendly modern environment you’ll carry out Ophthalmic technical and imaging procedures including OCT, Visual fields, visual acuity assessment and intraocular pressure checks. You will also assist the nurse specialist in the medical retinal treatment clinics.
Previous experience in Ophthalmology would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
In addition to the ophthalmology department at Royal Free Hospital hospital, we also have ophthalmic clinics in other hospitals within the trust and you will be expected to work there when needed.
