Join our team as a highly organised Project Support Officer, to work on the Regional Strategic Project, assisting the Project Delivery Manager and Service Leads/Team Managers across the South East region. You will play a key role in supporting a variety of DfE-funded projects within the Children's Social Care team in the People Directorate.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work confidentially across multiple tasks and projects is essential as well as quickly building relationships across a range of different local authorities. A professional, flexible attitude with a 'can-do' approach and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment is a requirement for success in this role. Whilst you will be based at our Time Square offices and be part of the wider Family Placement team in Children's Social Care, you will need to be confident in arranging and attending meetings virtually, as you will be liaising with colleagues across the South East region.

Key responsibilities...
* To provide a consistent and reliable high quality business and administrative support across a number of DfE funded projects within Children’s Social Care to ensure the successful delivery of these projects against their agreed budgets, timescales and objectives.
* To develop close contacts with project officers and managers within the 20 local authorities across the South East region in order to ensure the successful delivery of this high profile Children Social Care project.
* To act as the main contact point for both internal and external partners across a number of DfE funded projects. Triaging and responding to queries appropriately and providing support to other teams within Children’s Social Care when required.
